Hi, any Baker Hughes Drilling Engineer / Directional Driller here? Just wanna ask a simple question here. Do BHGE have powerdrive vortex equivalent RSS tool? Basically, an RSS with power pack (combination of RSS and mud motor). I need to know how much the bit rpm with certain gpm pumped through the power unit, without rotating at surface. We gonna drill PMCD here. Directional drilling service contracted to BHGE. Thinking of maximizing RCD pressure constraint by lowering down surface rpm in case there is gas migration while drilling with PMCD. Thanks.

We used this combo numerous times for quite a few years until others played catch up.


Autotrack extreme. Step changed the way we drilled our directional 12¼ and horizontal 8½ wellbores safer faster cheaper.

BHI have move on from there with more directional innovations from there.
