Petrowell Dual ESP packer

Contemplating a workover which requires pulling a 9-5/8" Dual ESP Petrowell Packer - OPB1. Procedure requires shifting an internal sleeve to release using Otis B3 shifting tool.

If this doesn't work the packer mandrel has to be internally cut to release slips

Petrowell was purchased by Weatherford, have a potential contact there who is currently on vacation. Would like to hook up with someone familiar with these packers.

Answer:
Couple of points as this packer works very similar to the Baker premier series.

there is no B3 shifting tool it will be a B142 or a BO, the BO only shifts down and makes more sense, however it is the size that is important ie: 4 ½ tubing is probably 42BO138, see attached product info
When the sleeve is moved this turns the packer into a retrievable packer and then needs about 60K overpull as well.
I highly recommend finding the shifting tool but as a back up I have used Hunting cutting tool on a Premier Packer in the past to cut the inner mandrel as we had no access to any alternatives in Syria
I would give Huntings a call or look at website for contacts as i am sure they have addressed this in the Past.
Good Luck
